About Pierce Church
Pierce Church (also known as Upland United Methodist Church) has a history of over 100 years in Upland, from our original church building built in 1904, to our current location in the former Pierce Governor Factory, as of December 2017.
We have been known in Upland for our community involvement and partnership with Taylor University, the Red Barn Youth Outreach, Helping Hand, Victory Acres, and more. Notable ministry programs and outreach include: Vacation Bible School, Kiddie Kampus Preschool, "Wednesdays!" midweek dinner and small groups, college lunch, and a host of seasonal events. Our congregation is diverse in ages and backgrounds. Our renovated factory setting and contemporary worship services are uniquely welcoming to those who may be intimidated or uncomfortable by the thought of attending a church. We also encourage connections with others through monthly events and small group gatherings.
