April 26 Children's Resources
What's the plan for kids church? You're the plan! Yes, you - the parents. Check it out…we've adopted an idea called Orange several years back and the idea is basically this: RED represents the heart of the family and YELLOW represents the light of the church and when churches and families partner together, this magnificent thing called ORANGE happens. Studies from seminaries and faith research groups show that when families and churches have a collaborative relationship in how they lead kids and youth, those kids and youth grow up to have a deeper, more authentic expression of faith.
One impactful way churches and families can partner together is by church leaders, like myself, encouraging and equipping parents to lead at home. In response to this strategy, I have prepared fun, at-home activity and message guides for you parents to lead with your kids. Click through the links and check out the videos on YouTube.
I'd love to hear about how things went. Post feedback in the comments section of the YouTube videos or on Facebook/Instagram @UplandKUC!
